This is a Barabaig lady who Bennett met in the region of Lake Manyara. Her smile was so radiant and unwavering that the artist felt compelled to photograph her. She was part of a group of ladies who were singing very confidently and this proved to be a memorable experience for the artist.

Bennett considers this to be one of his most successful expressions of personality through the use of color.
